Learning to Forgive

“Unforgiveness is the act of imprisoning yourself in a cage that you built.” Unforgiveness only hurts the one who chooses to hold on to it. Unforgiveness is as a slow poison. It starts from the heart and works its way up o the whole body, paralyzing one’s usefulness in the process.
Many people say they do not know how to forgive. They don’t know how to let go. Well just follow these steps:
  • ·         Forgive
  • ·         Forgive again
  • ·         Keep forgiving
It’s as simple as that. There is no syllabus or curriculum for forgiveness. Forgiving is the only step included. There is no special technique, skill or ability involved. No school will ever teach you how to forgive. You must learn this art on your own to escape a life of constant sadness, bitterness, malice and depression.
