The Top 10 Songs and Albums On My Creativity Playlist

Everyone has a go-to music playlist, for when they are sad or happy or in need of inspiration. When I need inspiration to write, I listen to some specific songs or albums and they help boost my creativity. And since I listen to a variety of music genres and lots of songs, I can’t put them all on this list.

But then, there are songs and albums that stand out though. This is the list of the top 10 of them (in alphabetical order).

UNVEILED: The EP by Chris Rio

I listened to Chris perform a song off his new EP, Unveiled, and I had to walk up to him to ask if I could put it up on my blog. The song he performed was titled 'So Good' and the song lived up to promise as it was so good.

He has released songs with a touch of different flavours ranging from strictly hip hop songs to afro pop songs. 4Runner released a number of singles from the Infiltration EP(Extended play) which he started working on since 2011 which enjoyed great feedback from faithful listeners and airplay on different radio stations and online radio stations and also features on blog sites. He is set to release the full package. The 8 track online version of the EP introduces us to the rappers versatility and shows a unity in diversity as he raps on different beat styles. According to 4runner as the days go by he realises the importance of living a purpose driven life and living to be who God planned for everyone to be and he was inspired to shape the theme of the project based on his discovery that there is no fun(fulfilment) in the comfort zone. He also shares a bit about some of the experiences that have shaped his life so far. The EP features talented artists like Henrisoul, Provabs, Samnem, Gabri and introduces you to more great artists. it also includes works from music producers like Encore (f.k.a Don John), Skweird, Dj Nobong, Octave. The Ep is a bag of talent. 4runner presents to you in this year 2014 his debut EP, The infiltration EP.  A non constrained rap project that can be enjoyed by people of different ages. 4Runner Presents: #InfiltrationEP

4runner, the artist who released songs like grateful, No one greater featuring Henrisoul, Infiltration and the take over remix featuring Samnem and Provabs releases a music video for the song Infiltration.This is the official music video for the single off the Infiltration EP which would be released this month.

4runner started enjoying rap music at the age of ten and started composing his own rap songs at the age of fourteen.He is from Delta state and was raised mostly on Lagos state.He got introduced to music from rappers like T-bone and Lecrae while in secondary school. On his graduation day he released a demo titled "stand up" which had five songs.

He continued making music and released grateful which enjoyed a great feedback from listeners and he later worked on other songs. Now he is set to release the EP titled #Infiltration which he says was a suggestion from fans and friends. The EP is to be released later in May. Watch out!

NEW MUSIC: This is Me (Mixtape) -JSwiss (yimi_x_cross)

Though I've known this guy for sometime now, I must admit his talent keeps surprising me. His first mixtape 'Music in Session' was awesome (download here) and it really proved to me how good he is. However, 'This is Me' is definitely better and I am sure he will only improve. This is his second mixtape in one year. This is a pointer to the fact that this young man is hardworking and he is out and out to hit it big. With quality mixing and mastering, you're sure to experience fine music and brilliant lyrics. Personally, my best track on the mixtape takes after the album name: This is me. Lyrically speaking, it's hard to tell which song is the best but I will go for 120 bars and as for instrumentals, I think Logan stands out. Click here to download it and spread the word. First of, you'll think the artist isn't Nigerian, but he is and he just graduated from Covenant University. This is good music. The song is a combo of sleek, smooth poetry and a slow melody of rap. It's a song for the soul. It won't make you jump up and down, it'll make you think. Download it here

Osimahon Happiness Jonathan, better known by his stage name OJAY, (Twitter handle: @OJAY_MUZIK) is a Gospel Recording artiste, Songwriter, Worshiper at heart, Minister and a Motivational Speaker from Lagos, Nigeria. He was born on the 1st of October, 1993 into a Christian home. He gave his life to Christ at the age of 14. He discovered his gift of singing at the age of 13 while always listening to music. After giving his life to Christ, he became a very active member of the Choir in his school days. He made up his mind to go fully into Gospel Music at the age of 18. OJAY is an anointed singer who has decided to preach the gospel through his music and is dedicated to it. He is very passionate about people who feel there is no hope for them. He has made up his mind to think Christ, talk Christ and act Christ. His Vocal capability is awesome and wonderful. He is really gifted and has the ability to give you the melody you need.
