My recent ventures have been hinged upon social entrepreneurship. This is one of such ventures, I am volunteering for it:
The Eagles’ HOPE Charity Foundation
(hereafter referred to as H.O.P.E) is the not-for-profit, and community
development arm of the Covenant University Alumni Association. Over the past
three years, we have been able to engage over a thousand volunteers and scores
of corporate partners to reach over 7,000 teenagers with our award-winning
leadership development programs; while our other programmes/ projects have
impacted another 4,000 unique individuals.
The C.I.T.Y (Catch & Inspire
Them Young) Summer Leadership Programme 2015 is one of such programmes of the
foundation described above. The programme is set to create an environment where
leadership and life building values can be instilled into young teenagers (ages
13-18) in a creative, impactful and fun-filled way.
The foremost objective of the CITY
programme is to develop the leadership potential of these teenagers by training
and mentoring them on principles and values that would help them excel in life.
To this end, several impactful programmes, trainings, games, projects and
excursions have been lined up to ensure that we develop the leadership
potential of the students in an atmosphere of creativity, fun and inspiration.
The summer
school will span from August 5, 2015 to August 15, 2015 in 4 locations, namely,
Lagos, Ota, Ibadan and Abuja for 1000 participants and the aid of 250 well sought
after facilitators, volunteers and trainers.
We would
love you to register your interest to participate, be a volunteer or sponsor
this program by getting across through any of these contacts:
