At the beginning of 2015, my main goal was personal development. I wanted to improve my knowledge and understanding of life and business, and I wanted to improve my ability to deal with life’s challenges. So I set a target to read at least 40 books. Initially, I was moving at a fast pace, but had to slow down as the year wore on. Why? I started working. I went from averaging 4 books a month to just 2.

Nevertheless, I have made progress that I can be happy about. So here are all the books I have been able to read this year (in no particular order). Let’s see which of them you have read too.

These are the books I’ve read this year (as much as I can remember). There are probably others I can’t remember. As they come back to me, I will update the list. At the end of the year, I will rate the 20 best books, according to how much they have taught and influenced me.

So, tell me, which of these books have you read and what did you learn from it/them?

  2. This is really good. Sad to say, I haven't read much this year. I have a few books I'd like to read, but haven't gotten around to it. I guess that should be on my next list of goals.

    Thanks for sharing.

  4. Amazing! I didn't even read up to this but I read a good number of great books. I'll up my game next year though and definitely saving this list. I have most of them as E-books but I prefer hard copies lol. You're such a voracious reader- love it!

What key lessons did you learn from these books? How did they help you generally? I see most of them are business/mind related...

    1. The key lessons I learned from the books are:
      1. Find what works best for you and build your life around it.
      2. There are many ways to look at life, and problems. Attitude really is everything.
      3. No worthwhile achievement is easy to come by. But at the same time, you shouldn't kill yourself.

Generally, these books gave me a fresher, more mature perspective of life. At least I'm better off for reading them. :)

    2. Great lessons. Indeed attitude is everything and I think to a good extent it determines if an individual actually achieves their purpose on earth or not.

So, we should be expecting something greater on your end next year right? :D

  5. You keep count? I actually don't. I only know I read not less than three books a week.

I will check out some of the books you've listed. :)

  6. I'd love to read some of the books you've listed but social media won't let me. Instead of reading a book I'll be reading people's rants on Twitter and also blogs.
