Positive self-esteem
affords you the ability to feel good about yourself at all times. People tend
to look at you in the very way you see yourself. Do you like yourself? Do you
feel good about who you are? You don’t need a mirror to tell you how good you
are. If you can’t value who you are, how in the world do you expect other
people to?
In order to build a
positive self-esteem and feel good about you every time, just follow this
trail:
- Acknowledge and appreciate that you are special. Yeah, you’re good like that. Everyone is different and unique in their own way. You’ll never be another person. Even though no one around you sees it, deep down you should always know thus. It’ll help you.
- Be positive (B+) at all times. The situations you find yourself may not point to this but you need to be positive every time. Progress is easiest when you see positivity in every circumstance.
- Make yourself happy (even when no one will). Do happy things. Be with happy people. Read and listen to jokes. Watch comedy. By all means, be happy.
- List out the things you like about yourself. This may be tough. Sit down, observe (no matter how long) all the things you like about yourself. You’ll be amazed at how numerous they are.
- Accept criticism. Not insults or ridicules, criticisms. There’s usually some truth in criticism. Take note of them and become a better you. Don’t give heed to any insult or ridicule, they’ll only lower your morale.
- Seek helpful knowledge. This is not some sort of textbook approach, it works. Read self-help books and articles. Seek positive and mentally healthy information.
- Be yourself at all times. This is the most vital step. If you can achieve this, then you’re good to go.

ReplyDeleteI don't create a comment, however after browsing a bunch
ReplyDeleteof responses on "HOW TO HAVE POSITIVE SELF-ESTEEM".
I actually do have 2 questions for you if it's okay.
Is it simply me or does it look like a few of these responses look like they
are coming from brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are writing at
other social sites, I'd like to follow anything new you have
to post. Could you list of the complete urls of your shared sites like your linkedin
